Our morning went well. Although we didn't wake up early enough to go to the parade. We ended up going to a county fair. We baked. It was so unbelievably hot. From there we went swimming. His first time ever in a pool. It was quite cool so he only went in to the top of hie cloth swim diaper OP brand. [It was 6 month size and huge Why don't they sell swim wear smaller!?!?] And then he got fussy so we kept only his feet in and he loved it!
Then it was time to watch fire works. We left and from where we parked it was a little over a mile walk to where they were shooting. By the time we got all the way up there they only had about 5 minutes left. But that's nothing we sat down and were hanging out with some friends. While Bentley slept threw everything when all of a sudden phones started ringing every where. A tornado touched down ten miles from where we were sitting. Winds started picking up bad after that. So people and cars were in a rush to get to safety. & everyone knows those tow don't mix well. Some one was rushed away in an ambulance because they were either trampled by people or ran over by a car. We witnessed so many car accidents and illegal driving it was insane. It took us about 2 hours for our friends to drive me, my husband, and my newborn to my car which was only one mile away from where we were sitting!!! After all that time the storms were over. It wasn't even raining anymore. But I really do not think we will be going back out there. We will watch them some where safer where there is less people.
So none the less Bentley slept threw this entire thing but we were scared for our lives.
